Mentos = Freshmaker? Since this thread is sort of spare, howsabout explaining clearly what the blue blazes it is you're all on about?
(Horse, here's my guess: First, mentos. This obviously comes from the Greek Mento, a lunatic - literally, one moonstruck, as in menses, mental, menstruation, etc etc etc. To then say that this "lunatic" is exactly equal to "Freshmaker" is tricky even for an advanced philologist like meself. I infer the second part could be an Americanised contraction, perhaps for "Free Schumacher", a plain reference to the racing driver of the Ferrari ilk. Free him from what? is the logical query, as he is not, to my knowledge, incarcerated in any way - although this does lead us to a way of making sense of all this:
"Mentos = Freshmaker" means "Only a lunatic would want to liberate a German racing driver who is not imprisoned".
I am willing to stand corrected.
Oh yeah, .... )

*nods..
Yeah. Okay...
Or Mentos=Yummy mint.
Fresh=Is what the mouth is after yummy mint has been chewed.
Therefore Mentos=Maker of Freshness in mouth. a.k.a. Freshmaker.
