View Full Version : War of the Sexes

So, as Idnew proposed, we can now talk about equality, solidarity and war between the sexes.
Does it exist? Does it exist because of you?
I don't usually fight about these things, except little arguments with my girlfriend, but that's never serious. But if I encounter a person who is fanatic about one sex being better that the other, I sometimes get mad. That happens quite rarely, though.
I think most of the fights occur between older men who think men are better than women and younger women who (obviously) don't like that.

Pfft. EQUALITY?!? Where?!?
Okay, to start with, the govt. only allowed women into the labour force not because of equality and cuz they thought them feminist fights were just too much to bear, but they wanted a larger labour force for the economy... Now with women working the economy is allowed to grow and expand.
It's along the same lines where they thought children should not work because it was not morally correct. It was cuz the kids kept messing up the machines and well basically totally inefficient! And govt. puts taxes on tabacco and alcohol because they want people to stop or decrease their intake. But thats a whole different story..

And to be honest. There will never be equality.
Both physically and mentally women are never gonna b men and men are never gonna b women.
You people out there: Get on with life and do something dat'll make your mother proud. Stop wasting your time complaining about the lack of equality.

One thing that sure isn't egual is having babies. First the women have period (I don't know if that's the correct word) before the couple succeed getting her pregnant. Then there's all the trouble of being pregnant, being sick in the mornigns and everything. And when it's time to give birth, it hurts like hell.
What about men? All we have to do is ......:D
Personally, I think women are grrreat! But I still prefer being a man. But how would I know, I've never tried anything else.

Well, according to the studies on TS people, part of me ( the brain) is female, so my internal gender identity is feminine, or how I percieve the world and interact with it, and the rest male, so I in one sense was "born" female, on the inside though.
Most of the problems I have had through life have been caused by my having to "fake it", and try and be the man I never percieved myself to be.
I would have to say that I would want to be born with a sex that matches my gender, because life kind of sucks when everyone is treating you and expecting you to be male, while your own internal "frame of reference" says different! :cry
Denial and repression becomes your best friend after awhile.

Only manly on the outside, and that is on its way to being remedied. :wink (Feminizing hormones are my friend right now, Bye bye testosterone, hello estrogen). :p :p
Many TS people at least in the Male to Female, do turn out to also be Bi or lesbian. Many times, we can't tell until we get our gender and body issues "sorted" out. Some MtF's further their denial, by arguing with themselves that, if they are attracted to women, then they can't be a woman. That is one of the arguments I used with myself for awhile, (though I used to like and joke that I was a lesbian trapped in a man's body,) when I had a girlfriend.
Right now, the only thing male about me is the body, and some left over detritus from the "male" personality that I limped along through life as. In one sense I am having to "grow up" again, but as the proper gender this time. As far as I am concerned, I am a woman, just because nature messed up, isn't any reason for me to further deny who I am.

Thanks for sharing Diz.....best of luck to you
You can also use this thread to male/female bash if you like just for fun.
Keep it clean please and I have noticed a lot of slipping the f word in. I don't think it's necessary so please try to refrain from using it.
Thank You Very Much
