I dont really think that will be a problem. I believe that a lot of members on DL would be responsible enough, to be a fair mod despite all the small controversies.
I mean you (Idnew) also have your opinions and take part in the discussions, but you are a fair mod afterall.

I agree with Sjax. I think there are a lot of very responsible DL-members, who would be more than capable of becoming moderator. I think Sjax himself is the best candidate.

I agree at we don´t need more Mods here. Idnew, Serendipity, Paulgro and Beetlejuice is enough. But they are not bad, W1che. Idnew is strict but mostly fair. Serendipity is liberal but he anyways knows where are the limits. Paulgro...well, I haven´t seen him long time, so where is he? :confused: Paulgro is rational and tolerant.
Beetlejuice is quite neutral. He tries to keep order here but he don´t use so-called hard methods.

We have now B+ mods here, and we don´t need more.

You sure don't want to make a Mod out of a good poster because it seems as soon as you do they stop posting very much.. It's kinda like thay don't want to talk down to us peons.. :D :eek:

I find myself biting my tongue often round here, Wunch, particularly in the forums I mod. My views are well-enough known round here, but of course I don't just stand back and let others have all the fun all the time - and my posts get deleted when they should be, just like anybody else's. It would be churlish to hold stuff like that against my fellow mods, natch. Most of the time I don't take sides, especially in debates I've already dealt with here or elsewhere.

Best thing about this board for me has been watching it grow, develop, have stagnant phases and busy times, and all that - like on any other decent board, I guess. There's some faces I miss from the old days, and some who I wonder why they weren't drowned at birth, but hey - that's weblife.

Heck, Wunch, now I've gone all sentimental. Get back under your stone, you goof! :lol

No and I really don't like the mods to get involved too much into heated debates as I need them to keep the peace no matter what their opinion is. I would like them to try to start new topics for discussion or just reply to as many topics as they can.
