View Full Version : Would you make Dumb Laws Search your home page?

January 28th, 2001, 12:57 AM
As always, I'm always looking for ways to offset the sinking rates of the Internet ad industry -- so here's my idea:

I have a "Dumb Laws Search" engine, which (much like yahoo or altavista) simply acts as a search engine to search the entire Internet. My question is: would you set this as your home page and use it frequently? Would you even use it at all? Please be honest -- because if enough of you responded positively, I may put this into action.

You can preview the search engine here:

***Edit: Link Corrected***

I actually like it quite well -- very simple and to the point. If anyone has any suggestions (design ideas/interface issue/etc) I'd love to hear them. I really look forward to your feedback -- after all, the users are what keeps this site going!

Worked fine for me. Yes I'd make it my start page. I typed in donuts just for the heck of it and it found it real quick. One of the links said, "forget the donuts win millions" http://www.dumblaws.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I would use it! I typed in SEX (just for the heck of it)and everything came up that has to do with sex.Even something read "instead of looking up sex why not try to win a million dollars?"

I tried loads of things, whatever I put in there was always one line telling me to forget whatever I asked for and try winning a million dollars. I'd quite like the million dollars, but I reckon I stand more chance of finding things on the net.
