Strange downloads

Some of the posts have been downloading differently on my 'puter. Paulgro's "Congrats To The New Mods" in lawsuits is one. I can't get in; the 'puter grinds away slowly loading one percent at a time, then gives me an error saying the site isn't responding. Yet the other posts work fine. What's up?

I just tried it, loaded fine. Try it again. If you still have trouble and are using Netscape empty your cache that sometimes helps.

Thanks. I did some housecleaning of my C drive and now things are fine. I thought maybe there was some attachment in certain topics causing the download problem, but no. Strange and frustrating.

Mind, Lis said the other day she had a slowness prob, and I did at the same time. Also the red posts light up on some days, and not on others. A bit annoying if you're tring to look at every new post and don't know what's new. New threads are still blue.

I aslo have been having the same (lagging) problem with my puter...not all the time but I think i need to clean my c-drive I just dont know.The same time Liz and dippy did tho also!

Well I posted a new topic before I saw this. Boy has been awful today. I very rarely get the red folders. Only on this board it happens. I have learned keeping the cache cleaned out does help sometime on the slowness, but today has been awful.
