Yes, that is the government policy of Japan. If you are not of the "correct" race, you are less than human. Yokohama is going to grant "resident" status. This is something that they refuse to do for fourth-generation descendents of Korean slaves brought to the island during World War II.

Of course, the UN never bother to denounce this blatantly racist policy, and many is the Western leftist who sidesteps and makes excuses for it.

The simple truth is that the government of Japan considers more than one percent of its native population to be less worthy of civil rights, the right to vote, and basic legal status than they do to a seal.

One doesn't have to wear a brown shirt to be as racist as a brownshirt. The plain truth is that Japan may very well be the most racist regime in the world. They will give the equivalent of citizenship to a seal but refuse it to fourth-generation native-born residents.

And over and over liberals, since liberals are dishonest and hypocrites, keep pretending not to notice or make excuses for it. Why is racism just fine for the Japanese to practice? Could it be that the liberals don't think the Japanese are good enough to be held to a higher standard?
