Since he out there hiding somewhere, how come after 5 months, we still havent found him? I think if America miltary use all recourses to just find him, he would be found. America have all techs and caught other crimials easy but not Omar or Laden. Why it so hard to find him if America have all kinds of techs and combed all over Atfghanistan. I mean Laden the is most wanted man ever in history with reward of 25 million dollars and he has the most familar face yet no one spot or nottice him. I wonder how long will this charade go on? cant wait to see him found, I bet alot of media swarm all over him when he get to new york for trail. I wonder if Laden is hiding out there with his kids and wife or spare them to save them?

Well most of us don't want him brought to trial, but just want him found dead, which he could be.

Going to move this to the EE forum.

Just a little side note I thought I'd share.

When I was out job hunting back in August, I made friends with a lady from one of the stores I applied at. When I caught up with her about 2 months ago, she told me an intresting story.

Apparently her daughter is dating a prince from around Afghanistan. Not only that, but his family is close friends with Osama Bin Laden's family. And they said, according to this chain of people, that if they knew where he was, they'd personally kill him.

Anyways, I found that intresting. I hope you could follow it.

The theory at the moment is that he is dead.
I think he is hiding, and is away from Afhganistan. He had time way before the US struck to get away. And he's got oodles of money.

Also what do ppl think about flying these prisoners to cuba?

Personally I don't think its the right way to do it. The red cross is just allowed into the camps, but they can't make a report to anyone other than the US!!!
I think the UN should deal with the prisoners (Can't be fun being surrounded by angry marines). Also if they're POW's shouldn't they be returned?

Well, according to Dick Cheney, Bin Laden "is either dead, in Afghanistan or somewhere else".........................
How intelligent can this man be???????

Well, the latest (unconfirmed) reports are, that Bin Laden has died of a kidney disease.

These people on Cuba are POW's. It's as simple as that. Although the US government may deny it, they are.
A Prisoner Of War is anyone, who during a military action has been taken captive by the opposing party in the conflict. These people have all been taken captive in military battles between the allied forces and the combined forces of Taliban and Al Qaeda. Which makes them Prisoners Of War.
Accordingly, they have to be treated according to the Geneva Agreements. Which means that they have to be able to be visited by the Red Cross, which in turn has to be able to work in complete freedom. That cannot be the case if they are only allowed to report to the US government. They should at least be able to report to the Security Council of the United Nations.
