Bush said the CIA's doubts about the charge -- that Iraq sought to buy "yellowcake" uranium ore in Africa -- were "subsequent" to the Jan. 28 State of the Union speech in which Bush made the allegation. Defending the broader decision to go to war with Iraq, the president said the decision was made after he gave Saddam Hussein "a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in."
Uhhh...what the hell is he talking about?

I cannot believe that the good people of the US quietly sit by and watch the ongoings of George Bush. Are they really that complacent?
He rose to power through an election that was at best "questionable."
Went to war on the premise of Weopons of Mass Destruction. Through careful media manipulation, he has managed to keep the hype up, and make a sand dune look like a smoking gun. But no W.O.M.D. Now it's "we got rid of a monster ruler" Whatever the excuse is to skirt around the accusation.
Used his "State of the Union" address as a platform to lead the American People to War. And LIED.
I just can't believe that no one has really stepped up to the plate and said "wait a minute...whats going on here." If another country had invaded someone on false premises, they would be a the War tribunal court at the UN so fast their head would spin. All that seems to be happening, is a lot of grumbling, but no real opposition to George Bush.
The only reasoning I can see is that he is right, and no one has a sound defense against what he is doing.
Is this accurate?

Only if you are a liberal looking for a stake to drive through GWB's high-poll-numbers-land-on-the-carrier-cinch-to-be-reelected heart!:lol
I've been remiss here...sorry-- Welcome to DumLaws political arena, civiltech. :wave :wave

His poll numbers are going down (again).
Anyway, what the hell was he talking about? Bush claims he gave Saddam a chance to let inspectors in...this is blatantly, factually wrong. This guy is not living in reality anymore--he's making stuff up!
This guy is just...a joke. And nobody really says anything. It's hilarious and horrifying at the same time.
:lol

Hey there. I assure you I don't think left of center. In fact, I am a staunch member of the Provincial Progressive Conservatives here in Ontario, and a member of the Federal Canadian Alliance. I don't believe in Welfare, and am sick and tired of seeing The Canadian Federation of Students, and local unions preach the concept that "The World Owes Me a Living..."
It is not a liberal or a conservative issue though. I believe it to be some simple facts that get danced around. When Dubya first entered power, I thought it would be good for our neighbours to the south, and for us.
It hasn't.
I long for the ol' days when we were best friends. Of course.....Dubya can keep his weiner in his pants unlike the last guy.....

Wow, Civiltech, I think you will be able to have a heated political discussion with every single DL-member.
Against GWB and against welfare.
As for Bush I am pretty sure he will be re-elected. If he is in danger of losing he will start a new war against a new middle eastern state saying that they have bounds to terrorists.
September 11th was the best thing that ever happened for Bush's personal political career.
(There Phreak, there's something for you to take out of the context and use against me.)

But does he have one? Does it work? Is it safe for him?
If it doesn't he would have no problem to keep it in his pants.

That's a sure thing. I would bet money on it.
