Dumb road rule encouraging cyclists to break the law

A law that allows cyclists to ride on the footpath in Queensland that supposed to improve safety for cyclists.

Encourages cyclists to break the law and put pedestrians in danger as shown by the large number of cyclists who instead as required by law to walk their bikes across the crossing.

Ride their bikes straight off the footpath on to the crossing not caring for pedestrian safety.

well that's jes plain silly... makin pedestrians a liability on a sidewalk that's sposed to be for 'walking'.. not riding a bicycle.. :lol

yeah dutch bicycle riders are dangerous and come in great numbers!

in britain we have cycle paths popping up everywhere at great expense


funny thing is some of them are regularly as short as 5 metres OR LESS!

and in most parts ofthe country no-one ever uses them.
so the governments spent millions on green paint!
