Such is the price you pay for the free housing, utilities, transportation, and food your mother provides-now go clean your room.

Have you cleaned your room yet? http://www.dumblaws.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
I'd hold on to those old games though. They do become valuable believe it or not down the line. Just for collectors.
Back in the day when I was your age computers were only something that big companys might or might not have. So we didn't get to sit around like you kids do today. For knowledge we used the library or our own encyclopeda's.
As far as chores...ironing was a Saturday affair and I swore when I got grown I'd never buy cotton clothing and if it's 100% I don't. You know you could clean your room everyday and then you wouldn't have it to do on Saturday. You will have time to mow the yard soon on Saturday. http://www.dumblaws.com/ubb/smile.gif

You threw our "Trial by Magic". I surf and sell on auction sites and other sites and somebody on one of them was just looking for that very game. See I could have sold it for you.
BonkerWhat's up with you?

BTW Enforcer to answer your question. I raised 6 kids. 4 boys two girls and yes they all had chores to do when they weren't working in tobacco, the hay field, feeding the cows, picking strawberries and many other things we as farmers had to do. So cleaning your room should be a breeze and no they didn't have computers.

Thats..........cool No other words for it
And the guy looking for Trial by Magic, He should just buy "Ancient Evil" which is remake of the game with way more options and not as easy cuz TBM is like hello I finished it before you can say : "I finished it"

Well first of all, your mom is teaching you work ethics and cleanliness by making you clean on saturdays. Second, she's trying to teach you a little bit about economics by *****ing about you throwing away things (valuable or not).
About the your first gripe: Suck it up. No one wants to live with a pig
The second gripe: If you really want to get rid of things you don't want, try selling it. Learn how to recover funds from things you have bought and no longer need.

yeah well, about the first thing, I don't mind livin like a pig.... and I know how to clean up, so I f I would have somebody stayin' in the same place as me, I woulkd clean up, but my mom is never in my room, so...
Second thing, 'This crap isn't worth anything anymore.... It's like selling a bike thats been ridden over by a car.

Junk yards exist don't they? YOU may think what you have isn't worth selling but there is always someone out there that is willing to buy it.

I'm not sure they have Junkyards here in holland.(dont know what it is excactly 'cept sum place for junk), plus I don't feel like going through all the trouble of looking for someone who might want my stuff if I don't think I can get enough money out of it to compensate for going through this trouble.
(aren't I selfish...)

My Mother & Father grew up in the Great Depression. Mom saves everything. She has paper grocery bags stuffed with - paper grocery bags. She can't help it.
There were no violent computer games when I grew up. We had to make do with slingshots, air rifles, "polish cannons", firecrackers, carbide cannon, . . .
