Lately, there have been quite a few harsh feelings being passed around the boards. Sometimes, it's acceptable; sometimes it isn't. Here in the playground, we sometimes throw around insults, but they are only superficial with no true meaning and no intent of harm. These types of comments are fine on a family-oriented board such as this one, and sometimes you can't survive here without taking a few hits (this includes everyone). Threats, however, will not be tolerated.
Please make sure you aren't throwing too many insults at a specific person that they start to believe you hate them. If a concern arises, confront the person in a PM or email. If it gets really serious, contact a moderator. By not making a situation public, it prevents others from getting involved and keeps the problem to a minimum.
We understand not everyone agrees on all sorts of topics, too, and that members do (or don't) like to debate. The smart way to debate, which doesn't offend others and keeps the posts clean, is to debate intelligently. This means using real examples and not backless insults. Examples also prove your point much better than the word "stupid" for example.
Keep these in mind, please, and happy posting!
