London’s Sun reports that a British prison officer fired for offending Muslims by making wise cracks about Osama Bin Laden has won his unlawful dismissal lawsuit against his employer.
Colin Rose was fired by the prison service after reportedly making an "insensitive" comment two months after the 9/11 on Washington and New York. When a colleague had asked him why he used so much force to throw some keys down a metal chute at the jail in eastern England, Rose quipped: "There's a photo of Osama bin Laden there."
Officials said the comment might have offended a group of Asians visiting the jail.
An employment tribunal called the decision to fire him “reprehensible.”
I just wish the politically would decide whom he offended, was it the muslims or the asians?
what a minute.
the asians?.......
