WELL WELL,seems the budget Georgey presented shows that prescription fiasco of his not costing his promissed 400 billlion but 540 billion.Man, the inflation rate is bad , 140 billion in a month.
Wonder how much it will cost at the end of the year?

quote from link... While hunting for the votes they needed to nudge the bill through, Bush and administration officials as well as top congressional Republicans told wavering conservatives they believed the bill's costs would track the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office's $395 billion estimate.
>>>>>>>>..

Did you bother to read that part DZ. If you did could you point out where you see that Bush had anything to do with with the estimate?

whos plan is it , who sighned off on it as his plan and whos mouth stated the numbers??????????????????????????????????
hint: The name sounds link toosh.

Or maybe he just did not take the time to look at what he was doing?

Anyway, that was not the numbers Bush sighned off on.
Hensarling was among several conservatives who voted for the measure after being told by Bush and House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., that the costs should follow the CBO projections.

Other conservatives said privately they were owed an explanation as to why the White House did not provide them with the figures before they voted. Administration officials said the new cost estimate was not ready until now.
Also from the article.

He said 400 billion. Now its up to 540 billion. You are grasping at straws w1. the article supliments what Bush now says.I suggest you look up that part of bushy boys budget because the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office's $395 billion estimate has not got a darn thing to do with what Bush is submiting.

Lets see if I ask the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office for an estimate on something I'm wanting to do and they give me a number I don't have a right to repeat that number as the cost. I guess I'm confused on what the brains in that office is for??? Enlighten me if you will DZ.. :question

Enlighten me if you will DZ.. :question Lets see, if a non partison groups gives a number, you quote it ,then reciev the new figures and realize the former are off, dont you have an obligation to telll others when they are about to VOTE on it?

Especially the people you just gave the wrong info to?

Its kinda like Bush and his iraqi intel. He now knows there was amajor screw up but still insists that WMD may be found. He simply refuses to admit a mistake. On that fact the liberals are correct.

The White House said they didn't have the new numbers until the day they hit the news.. That was well after the vote and the bill was pasted & signed, but you know better.. Right DZ ?

I just can't support a guy who, with a single pen stroke, completely destroys my and everyone else's financial futures, for generations and generations to come.
