I actually tried doing something like this at one assignment. I'm a technical consultant that gets loaned out to companies in need of a particular expertise (tech writing in my case). Since I sat near the reception area, people were always asking me where someone's office was, was someone in today, where can I find this, that, and the other thing, or to look up phone numbers. I tried to be helpful, but I didn't know much of the information. I tried putting up a sign that said "don't even bother asking, cuz I don't know"
