Weird Irish Law

It's illegal to urinate on a public street in Ireland unless you are holding a horse by its reigns

-This law is very old but is still in effect, believe it or not...my friend urinated on a city street holding a horse, was arrested and argued the legality of it and was released, he even made it on the news!

guess that stems from all the wars ireland has fought in.. if they are soldiers, they don't have time to find a 'loo' , so they git off their horse, do their bizness, and hop back on and go fight the bad guys.. :lol

my curiosity tho.. why was your friend riding a horse through city streets? couldn't he find a nice country road to ride on?
