It shall be illegal for any person of sound mind to use AOL as an internet provider unless AOL is the only available provider in the area. However, if another provider through the phone company, cable company or other ISP becomes available, the person must switch over within 24 hours or face imprisonment in a psychatric ward for no less then five years and must pay a fine of no less then $10,000 for each person they have emailed while using an AOL account.

Welcome to Dumb Laws, Zadi http://www.dumblaws.com/ubb/smile.gif
Illegal? Look, most laws prohibit actions that people want to do but should not be allowed to because they gain unfair advantage...

Instant Messenger is the only good thing about AOL, except I heard a rumor that we're going to have to start PAYING for it. Doesn't that suck or what?

Having just found this topic, I feel that I should stick up for my ISP. It has many good features. Like.....ermmm.......(thinks desperately hard)...... ermmm.......It's the world's no.1 service provider! (It has to be. They say so in the adverts)
O.K, AOL sucks. I admit it (knew I should have gone with something else. Knew it! Knew it!....)

We have AOL, but it's seriously the best one around here unless you wanna pay a **** load of money for it. We have a good cable connection provider but it's expensive and we just ain't got the cash. But I agree AOL sucks.

AOL is the single most evil ISP in existence. But you all complian. America has an amazing cable network. Over here in the uk we still have copper phone wires, no fibre optics. And any cable there IS is extremly expensive. There was Atlantic telecom here, but they went bust. But i can be happy now because ADSL has come to be. Ten times the speed of normal internet for only £23 per month! And it really works! And you dont have to use a stupid AOL broweser like with AOL.
Be grateful of your cheap cable people. If you take it for granted, i will steal it in the middle of the night.
