It seems weird that we appropriate millions of Federal dollars to help victims of the 911 Trade Center bombing and zero dollars for the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing. The WTC victims were private employees in a privately owned building. The Oklahoma City victims were Federal employees in a Federal building.

That's not a sensitive question, I know: after all worldwide donations for the victims, is it still neccessary to spend Federal dollars? I mean, after all which was collected especially for the relatives of the fire fighters (who definitely deserve it, don't get me wrong), you get the impression that they can all move to nice villas very soon.

The Oklahoma City victims were Federal employees in a Federal building.
And probably had plenty of insurance and plenty of benifits where the WTC people didn't.

No, they were just a bunch of working class Federal tax form processors. Rank & file Federal employees have about $60,000 in term life insurance under union contract.

Yeah, i have begun to wonder why the WTC victims and their families are getting huge sums from the federal government, while the help given to the Oklahoma City bombing victims consisted mainly of Oklahoma unemployment checks (current max benefit: $283 per week) and various counties footing part of the hospital bill for uninsured victims.
Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge families who gat large sums from charities-I gave myself. But I nonetheless have to wonder why New York victims fared so much better than Oklahoma victims in dealing with the Feds.
