On Memorial Day, May 31, 2004, Vietnam Vets for the Truth broke an extraordinary story about a photograph hanging in the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum (formerly known as the "War Crimes Museum") in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). The photograph, displayed in a room dedicated to foreign activists who contributed to the Communist victory over America in the Vietnam War, shows Senator John Kerry being greeted by Comrade Do Muoi, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Jeffrey M. Epstein of Vietnam Vets for the Truth acquired the photograph during the Memorial Day weekend in response to a general request for photographs and records detailing Kerry's activities on behalf of the enemy.
Vietnam Vets for the Truth has now further documented the photograph. Photographer Bill Lupetti returned to the War Remnants Museum in Saigon on June 2 at the request of Dr. Jerome Corsi, co-author of the original article, and photographed a current edition of the "Viet Nam News" next to the display honoring John Kerry.

The photographs shown below accurately reflect the appearance and content of the War Remnants Museum in Saigon as of June 2, 2004, and document the context of the photo placed to honor the service John Kerry rendered to the Vietnamese communists with his anti-war protest activities. Bill Lupetti has reported that as he photographed exhibits in the Museum he began to attract police attention. He and the Vietnamese who were with him were reluctant to return to the Museum to take additional photographs after June 2. http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/graphics/B07.jpg
Wall of the War Remnants Museum in Saigon, June 2, 2004. Wall of international anti-war protest materials. The glass covering the Kerry / Do Muoi photograph reflects this display, which is the wall on the opposite side of the room.

PS: the Kerry photo was taken in the 90's, during a visit where Kerry was trying to get more information about missing POWs.
This is just more election-year Republican smear crap.

The photo was taken in the mid 90's, during Kerry's work as head of the Senate Select Committee for POW/MIA Affairs.

DZ,
His speeches are on the wall and he killed the effort and shreded pappers
Again, clever the way you take three different issues and slap them together in order to try and make the case that Kerry is the devil incarnate.
"his speeches are on the wall" - If the commies want to hang on their walls Kerry's speeches, JFK's speeches, MLK's speeches, whoever's speeches, it's their perogative. Trying to conclude that Kerry "aided the enemy" just because they found his anti-war views relevent to them is ludicrous. And partisan and frankly stupid.
"he shredded papers" - There were papers shredded--which were basically a report, or a theory written by one member of the committee who felt that large numbers of MIA's were still alive in Vietnam. Kerry and McCain considered the theory bogus, and perhaps damaging. For whatever reason it was shredded. This drove the conspiratorial crowd into a frenzy, which persists to this day (DZ is a good example). I'd like to hear Kerry explain the shredding a little more, but the fact is John McCain backed him. That tells me he probably had a justifiable reason.
"he killed the effort" - Baseless. All you can produce are copy and pastes of the opinions of biased individuals.
I can find no factual basis for your accusations that Kerry is a commie, a traitor, or killed the effort to find MIA's. All I see are op-ed pieces and biased...crap.

hmmm.. the war hero is anti-war?.. well finally u've made a statement that makes sense.. laffin.. slip of the keyboard there tigster?? :lol
u can be one or the other, but not both at the same time.. either you serve and support or u defect and defame.. i believe kerry did the latter.. he was sent to "Nam' cuz he couldn't get out of it, and then found the fastest way to leave.. sticking his arse where it didn't belong, gittin it shot at, and then writing his own medals so he could get home before the guys he was supposedly 'leading' .. then when he got home.. he threw his medals in the trash and debased all the good men (and women) who he was supposed to support..
yeah, some guy u support.. gag

he was sent to "Nam' cuz he couldn't get out of it Wrong. He enlisted.
He enlisted, fought in the war, got wounded, began to realize the war was unjust (which is a perfectly permissable thing to do; millions of Americans felt that way), he came home early (perfectly legal), and following his beliefs, fought against the war.
Nothing he did was illegal, treasonous, or un-American.
He has said today that he might have done things a bit differently, because he was young and idealistic. I'm sure there are things you would have done differently when you were young, right? Kerry's human, we're all human. Humans aren't perfect.
