Dumb Spending

Maybe I should create a new forum for these kinds of topics, but for now it goes in here...


Today I was reading over the Amended 2002 Budget for my homestate of GA and noticed quite a few oddities. I put all the ones I found onto the dumb facts site at:

Another oddity I found that I didn't include was the fact that the Governor proposed an increase in spending of over 4 million and an increase of 20 jobs to his already whopping executive staff......

I saw a piece on 20/20 last night that the Federal government has 1 car or truck for every 3 employees. The Department Of Energy actually has more vehicles than they do staff. No wonder they want to drill for oil in ANWR.
