Hunting

Some people like it, some people don't...what do you guys think on the subject? Do you hunt? What are its benefits and drawbacks?

I don't hunt, but know people that do. Deer mostly. Me personally I couldn't go out and kill anything, but I can't say that I won't eat the deer meat as long as I never saw the deer.

I don't see where it would have any drawbacks as long as the law is opeyed and of course the benifits are the food. I can't see killing just for the fur or whatever.

I put it in General Discussion because hunting is regulated by law, and different levels of government at that. Therefore it wouldn't be appropriate in a category for a specific level of government.

Well Jeff on your discription under general you say this forum is for discussion on dumb laws and hunting being regulated isn't a dumb law IMO.

So what's a mod to do? Anyway it is being discussed in the EE forum.
