This is true. I was once riding a bus in San Francisco. At a particular stop, a man comes running out of a dry cleaners with a double arm load of clothes. At the next stop, police board the bus and take him off.

Using a city surface bus, and from in front of the victimized establishment, was a new one for me!

It was so bizzarre, I don't think he even paid his fare. Maybe he was arrested for sneaking on the bus.

If you look too crazed, the bus driver doesn't ask for fare. He's a bus driver; not a security officer.

Not unusual actually. We had a guy here in Milwaukee a couple of years back try to make his getaway on a city bus after robbing a bank.
