Found this one on the Dilbert web site (www.dilbert.com).
While breaking into a house, the criminal apparently needed a change of clothes, because he took off his pants and put on a pair from the house. He left his own pants behind. Unfortunately for him, he forgot that in one of the pants pockets there was a receipt with his name and address on it. Needless to say, there wasn't much trouble in catching him.

The crime forensics experts believe that the perpetrator always leaves something of himself at the crime scene and always takes something from the scene with him. This story proves their theory.

why would someone break into a house to give them their pants, if we had more criminals that brought stuff instead of taking stuff i think we would have good concept lmmfao
