Are they serious with this? I mean, is this a crackpot bill, or is there serious support?

I'd love to Mac, but I'm not American, and it says 'we....are American citizens'. Otherwise, I'd sign up at once

Do you know where one can find more information on this? I'd like to read up on it if I could?

Yeah, I heard about this bill, and it's similar to something our government tried to pull a couple of years ago. As for providing security, it would be nice if they would use the resources they have to spy on computer users to I don't know, deport known terrorists? That would be nice.

I'm probably wrong about this, but if it would effectively ban the use of certain operating systems in the US, wouldn't that be against freedom of expression (assuming that writing an operating system is a way of expressing yourself)?

The whole country could sue the government on the grounds of privacy. And isn't the government supposed (*supposed*) to do what the people(there are no *people* anymore) want?

Not necessarily Aclu. I mean, I want my house filled with naked supermodels, but I don't see Tony Blair doing anything about that.
