Update on Tn Laws

I got this in email from someone I don't know awhile back. Don't use this particular email acct so don't check it much

You need to update your site, as several of the laws are just plain wrong.

1. The Tennnessee statute against "Crimes against nature" was overturned several years ago by the TN Supreme Court.

2. The age of consent laws don't have anything to do with virginity (I believe this came from Mississippi law, but I haven't read their statutes). The age of consent in Tennessee actually makes a lot of sense, compared to other states:
a) Persons under 13 are prohibited from having sex.
b) A sexual act where either person is between 13 and 17 is okay ONLY if the sexual partner is within 4 years
of age. (TN 39-13-506)

3. The law against consuming roadkill was recently revoked. This is a far cry from a law explicitly allowing one to consume
roadkill. For that matter, it's true in ANY state where it is not (explicitly) illegal to consume roadkill.

TENN really is a state populated by hillbilly religious fanatics. Dumb Laws in the rest of the country are considered progressive in TENN.
