Apparently, it is currently legal to "love" an animal in my homestate of New Jersey. However, there is a bill that went through the state assembly last week that would make have "relations" with an animal a 3rd degree offense. But, wait, there's more. While the bill was on the floor, an assemblyman tabled a motion to ammend the bill.
What could possibly be ammended? Was it to make it a more serious offense? No. Was it to put a mandatory minimum fine or sentence in the law? No. Believe it or not, it was to include DEAD animals in the bill!
Obviously, the bill was passed by an overwhelming majority and is on it's way to the state senate. But, what kind of state is this that has to ammend a bill to make it illegal to have sex with not only live animals, but dead ones as well?!?!?!
