My old university uses This Little Collection (http://www.lamp.ac.uk/search.html) of search engines. Why do you want so many?

Oh dear, my friend just told me to look here Search Engine List (http://www.twics.com/~takakuwa/search/search.html). He could've told me this b4 I started my random list!!!!!!! :mad

I cant think of anymore. Those are the only ones I have actually used but the all time best is Google.com<-- Mum to all engines.

One of the most useless piece of information: One of the most useful sites I have come across is quoteland.com:confused:

Hope I helped :) :p :D :cool :wave :lol :clap

[and I am sure u'll find the list for Afgan's search engine most useful...]

Good luck wid ur term paper btw! But it does seem strange to be in need of endless lists of search engines;
the difficulty of the 'In front of the computer'-ish's national term paper seems to be easier than the english. :p http://www.colute.net/cwm/contrib/anym/nike.gifhttp://216.40.249.192/mysmilies/ups/poeminister/sea.gif

If you are looking for something not too obscure, I would suggest dmoz.org or yahoo.com who have all their links organized into various directories.
