Mayo v. Satan, 54 F.R.D. 282 (1971)
The issue:
{Plaintiff} alleges that Satan has on numerous occasions caused plaintiff misery and unwarranted threats, against the will of plaintiff, that Satan has placed deliberate obstacles in his path and has caused plaintiff's downfall.
Plaintiff alleges that by reason of these acts Satan has deprived him of his constitutional rights.
(54 F.R.D. 282)
The ruling was that the U.S. Marshal could not find where to serve the defendant (Satan), so the case had to be dismissed. The plaintiff (Mayo) was instructed that he could revive the action if he would provide an address to serve the defendant. :lol
