This way your site will not remain proprietary and people will feel like they have a place to talk about all issues etc.

We've had plenty of discussions on all those topics and more, using the forums we already have. Don't see the need for a religion forum on a site dedicated to dumb laws...

Please also put up a Jokes and Humor Forum? Use the Playground.

And ethics is a branch of philosophy.

Dumb Laws isn't really the place to talk about relationships, and all the things you listed are either in EE or we don't even talk about them.

DumbLaws has the pottential to be a large community and as such it should not be proprietary. Communities are not about strict proprietary dictatorial type formats.

We are very happy with it as it is, Email. Most of that stuff you listed, you can just write in the Everything Else, or the Playground Forum.

Communities are not about strict proprietary dictatorial type formats.Agreed - communities are about people and their interactions, something we know all about here. "Everything Else" - Vague, perhaps, but just how unstrict, unpropietary, undictatorial do you want it? ;)

If the forum is dumb laws, laws of religion is a perfect fit.
Dumb laws of christianity or islam. Please, be objective who can really say they are logical? Email has a very good point. Thanks Email.

Like treating others kindly, asking forgiveness when wrong, and forgiving others when they ask...stuff like that?

Considering the type of comments seen around here, objectivity is the last thing some of us should be asking for, which leads me to ask, what's the association between Dumb Laws and that banner ad?

This answers some of your questions:

I have watched 1000s of Guests visit and go on. Only a handful registered. Why? Because the forum is is very limitted, and if Andy has no intention of building a community, then the forum is fine. But otherwise, it needs to be revamped to welcome people of all interests, this way you can sell more advertising.

Advertisers want to advertise on a happening site which has repeated and new members all the time.

Oh well, what do I know...

As stated email all those things have been discussed. There is no need to have separate forums for them as us mods are busy enough. All issues that have nothing or does have if you like with law we discuss in the eveything else forum. Those of us that have been here forever know what needs to be and not to be and the majority of the regulars suggestions have been listened to. Your obviously advertizing from the banner ad I see at the top.

Your obviously advertizing from the banner ad I see at the top.

Yes, just for now while the site has media attention.

I gether the few mods are extemely territirual, hence the mentioning of how you mods are so busy; as if there is a shortage of moderators.

Either way, for as long as the site has been here, had it been managed and moderated properly and well designed and structured, this site whould have had at least 15,000 members.

Again, what do I know. You guys have built quite a community with your wisdom No need to listen to those who challenge your authority. After all, people are always scared of change.

Well you know they have plenty of media attention. Have you?

June 24th, 2002, 08:36 PM
Well you know they have plenty of media attention. Have you?

Yes they do, for a very short time, and you and the other incompetent mods are doing everything to ensure the benefits of the spotlight are WASTED!

I have a forum where access costs $10 and I have more members then this site. What does that tell you?

here, take a look http://www.IlluminatiOrder.Org

I wasn't impressed. Sounds like a branch off the KKK and a bunch of raciests to me.

Shows what a MORON you are. No sane person could come to that conclussion after reading our materials. You read nothing as is obvious.

Shows what caliber person you are. Fine example of an incompetent and insecure peon hiding behind a Moderator position deep in a corner. Cya. I am out of here.

Only went to the front door that was enough.

Please stop promising us and just go and don't let the door hit you in the backside on the way out.
