If you have a friend of the gender you date who has proclaimed romantic intrest in you in the past six months, you are not to introduce them to your new steady without telling them before hand that you are seeing someone. If you should fail to keep this law, punishment shall be defined & given by the friend of the gender you date.

So if, for example, I had let a girl know that I was romantically inclined, and she hadn't made it clear right from the start that nothing was going to happen, and then she turned up at, say, my place of work hanging off the arm of some new guy and this was the first I had heard of it, then I could decide what to do with that wretched and sorry example of a girl?

Sounds good to me!

I think being "romantically inclined" falls short of a relationship where you can assume your the only possibility. Unless the other person agrees to more than casual dating, they owe you nothing.
