Anyone who judges someone by their looks/actions/etc. without getting to know that person will be secluded from society forever.

The car insurance companies do this with impunity! And they still extort a windfall profit and own banks!

Speaking as someone who is about to be excluded from society forever, where do I get to spend the rest of my life?

That's a good law. Does it apply to mums?? My mum keeps nagging at me for having my tongue pierced.."Its not socially acceptable blah blah blah". You can't even see it!!! - except when i laugh or yawn.

Yes, that does apply. It's what's inside that counts.

What happens if your judgement turns out to be completely correct?

And where am I going dammit? Is it Mauritius? I could cope with Mauritius

Anyone who judges someone by their looks/actions/etc. without getting to know that person will be secluded from society forever. Never mind the fact that you mean "excluded", isn't this law self-contradictory? I mean, if someone judges me on my looks and I cause that person to be excluded (see what I mean? I'm not sure how you can "seclude" a person from society") from society, does not my action - which is to judge someone else on their actions - render me liable to join that person in Mauritius, albeit probably in a different resort of that wonderful place?

Don't pretty well all laws judge people on their actions? Isn't committing murder an action? I doubt if a High Court Judge would let me get away with murder - even if he did discover that, "when you get to know me", I'm rather a splendid fellow! :lol

Judging people on their looks, that depends on what effect the judgment has. If it's a case of not getting a job because there's someone "more attractive" that the boss would rather employ when all other things are equal, well you might have a case there. But in terms of sexual partners and all that, you're free to choose not to go to bed with anyone you don't want to, for whatever reason.

Dippy. I have not seen you criticize another's fake law before. That is why they are called FAKE. Most of the people here know what I mean and the reasons for it. Let it go.

Rock, there was nothing personal in what I said. I would have given the same response whoever wrote it - and I do judge people on their actions. We all do.

I could have been better-humoured about how I said it.

Now, consider it dropped :)

And erm, does that person have to act according to their judgement before getting arrested or do they just have to think it. I mean like you know, the killer-penguin-thought-police-brigade time.

Penguins are cool.

Especially that thing they do, where they follow a helicopter until they fall over. Damn funny

Yeah I heard about the penguins and the helicopter thing. I would love to actually see it though.:lol But these penguins I am talking about are not normal penguins. They can read people's thoughts and will kill you if you think anything against their Rules Of Thought...

Once a spy had been sent in disguise as a polar bear and hid in the fridge till they found him out, skinned him and fed him to the dolphins... :(
