DZ vs. Tig: Rumble In The Dumble

Alright dammit DZ you keep harping about that link you've kept in your sig for the last two years. So I went back & re-read it, and was highly entertained. But since you keep holding that thread over my head like it's some kind of symbol of my allegiance to Satan, I thought I'd run through it all again, for those who may have forgotten (or weren't born yet).

It was early November 2004. The thread in question--started by DZ-- began typically enough...it was about how John kerry was: a liar, a vain calculating manipulator, an immoral, emotionally abusive husband, a communist and terrorist sympathizer, and that his honorable discharge from the military was falsified.

And that was just the first post.

I'd already seen what seemed like hundreds of similiar posts from you DZ, and I was starting to get fed up. I replied:

DZ as I remember you said you were voting for Badnarik, correct?

Why do you spend so much effort focusing on how much worse Kerry is than Bush? And why do you use a different standard to judge the two?

Why do you do this instead of posting positive things about Badnarik (I don't think you've even posted one pro-Badnarik thread yet!)? You spend a thousand times more effort trying to paint Bush in a comparatively better light while posting nothing about your own candidate.

It's obvious you want Bush to win. You don't seem to give a rat's @ss about the guy you're voting for. Explain.

I then replied with something I have consistently maintained, many times, over & over:

It's clear that you're a Bush guy and I'm a Kerry guy. I find it disingenuous when you claim to be independent.

But almost immediately you derail the thread into Clinton territory. You start in with 'but Clinton did the same thing, so why is it so bad??? Hilarious. I kicked your butt in that thread.

Anyway, fast foward. Two days go by, then you post:

and I'm like

and then Wunchie chimes in to call me a "loser", then I say I haven't had time to go through and count all the threads yet, then you say:

Threads and posts are not the same thing dear. I post a lot of threads and just about as many as anyone. Do it by posts and be true to what You said which was I did.

So now I'm supposed to count all the POSTS? Yeah right, This is where I lose interest in the whole conversation. You're trying to change the rules of the challenge, and, well, sorry...as Dana Carvey imitating George Bush Sr. used to say: "Na ga daa" (not gonna do it).

So then, if you read on, I try to make a larger point about Bush vs. Kerry, and it moves on from there.

So please DZ: let it go. Let the angst flow down your body, through your fingers and toes and out into the great cosmos where it may diffuse and dissipate like so much bad karma. Take the link down, stop obsessing over it, it's not some big piece of proof that Tig is a loser, it's just a dumb link in your sig. You need to move on.

why should his signature bother u tiggers?.. just to show you how it goes right over the rest of us, i've never even noticed or looked at the links in his sig until u brought it up in this thread.. and i'd bet a few dollars that 90% of the membership here hasn't either.. no one cares.. no big deal.. some new folks mite click the links just to see what was said, then they git bored and look at something else.. cuz that is what those two links are.. boring!.. just listening to u whine all day depresses me, so i basically ignore most of ur rantings..

cept for this one, i just had to make a point that u need to git out more..
